Announcing Sigma AMS 5.4.4.x

The NEOGOV Sigma Support Unit is pleased to announce the latest release of Sigma 5 Applicant Management System (AMS) software, AMS 5.4.4.1. Since its last major release in July 2007, Sigma has addressed more than 35 customer requests, enhancements and fixes.

In addition to enhancing the existing online features of job postings, applications, and interest cards, AMS continues to offer applicant self-service, which reduces the phone calls and labor to update information such as addresses and phone numbers. Applicants can view and update their applicant profile 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year, from anywhere in the world. All an applicant needs is access to the Internet from any industry-standard Web browser. Notification methods are selected by the applicant, and AMS can contact applicants via email, hard copy or both. Copies of all AMS-generated correspondence are automatically stored in the system for reference and reprinting.

Version 5.4.4.x also added the following major new feature to the applicant management software:

  • AMS users may attach files to applications.
