 The
Applicant Management System Web Features provide your agency the ability
to receive applications online, post job announcements, manage requisitions online, and more.
The advanced features of AMS 5 EE with Web Features provides the functionality
to:
- Post job announcements directly to your web site. Announcements will
automatically appear and disappear based on specific filing period dates
- Collect applicant data submitted to your web site. All online applications
are loaded into the AMS 5 database in real time and separated into personal
profile (demographics), work history information (application) and supplemental
application or questionnaire responses
- Allow applicants to access their profiles and applications to update
demographics and other information
- Allow acceptance of Interest Cards for site designated job classifications
- Allow applicants to indicate a preference for receiving traditional
mail, e-mail or both types of notifications during the various stages
of a recruitment process. Upon generation of letters, the system will
generate printed letters and/or e-mail based on the preference stated
in each applicant’s profile
- Collect résumés and store them with the profile or with
individual applications. Résumés may also be collected
by typing or pasting text directly into the AMS 5 database
- Online Requisition, Certification and Eligible Lists
- User defined workflow for requisition approval
